Lucy Flores

Lucy Flores was elected to the Nevada Assembly in 2010. She currently serves as Nevada’s assistant majority whip, vice chair of the Legislative Operations and Elections committee, and member of the Transportation and Ways and Means committees. She is also actively involved in growing the Nevada Hispanic Legislative Caucus and currently serves as vice chair. A fierce advocate for her community, Ms. Flores has volunteered for outreach programs across the state. In 2008, she was appointed to the Nevada Commission on Minority Affairs, serving as an advocate for equal protection under Nevada’s consumer protection laws. She is a graduate ofthe USC Price School of Public Policy and was an Unruh Institute of Politics scholar. In 2010, Ms. Flores received a juris doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
